• Applicants who have successfully completed their Engineering Degree course or are currently in their final year of the Engineering Degree program are eligible to apply.
• Candidates enrolled in the final year of an Engineering degree program must be capable of providing evidence of passing the Engineering Degree Examination, along with transcripts for all semesters/years, by October 1st, 2024. Additionally, they must obtain their Engineering Degree Certificate within 12 weeks from the start date of training at the Pre-Commissioning Training Academy (PCTA). These candidates will be admitted on an Additional Bond Basis for the recovery of training costs incurred at the Pre-Commissioning Training Academy (PCTA), as periodically notified. They will also be subject to recovery of stipends, pay, and allowances disbursed, in case they fail to furnish the necessary degree certificate.

• For SSC(Tech), 63 positions are available for men and SSCW(Tech) has 34 positions for women. Candidates must be between 20 and 27 years old as of October 1, 2024. (Candidates born between October 2, 1997, and October 1, 2004, both dates inclusive).
• For Widows of Indian Armed Forces Defence Personnel who Died in Harness, the age limit is a maximum of 35 years as of October 1, 2024, for SSCW (Non Tech) [Non UPSC] and SSCW(Tech) positions.
