• For Constable ( Grade III) : Applicants must have passed the H.S.L.C or equivalent examination from a recognized Board or Council. 

  Additional Qualification: Applicants must hold either a Home Guard Certificate or a Minimum NCC ‘A’ Certificate (for applicants other than Ex-Servicemen). Please note that individuals with an H.S.L.C. certificate but lacking either the Home Guards Training Certificate or the minimum NCC ‘A’ Certificate are ineligible to apply.

• For Dresser : Applicants should have successfully completed their High School Leaving Certificate (H.S.L.C) or an equivalent examination from a recognized Board or Council. 

  Additional Qualifications: (a) A minimum of 2 years of experience as a Medical Dresser, certified by a Government-recognized Institute.

  (b) Proficiency in various aspects of the trade, including knowledge of contamination control, sterilization and disinfection of instruments, preparation of chlorine solutions, maintaining antiseptic and aseptic conditions, decontamination procedures, as well as cleaning and bandaging wounds and other affected body parts.

• Other Criteria : Candidates must be Indian Citizen, permanent resident of Assam.

  Employment Exchange Registration: Candidates must register his/ her name with a local Employment Exchange in Assam.

  Local Language Proficiency: Candidates must speak Assamese or any other State language fluently.

• Applicants must be aged between 18 and 40 years as of January 1, 2024. Candidates should have been born on or before January 1, 2006, and on or after January 1, 1984.

  Age Relaxation:
  – SC/ST candidates: 5 years
  – OBC/MOBC candidates: 3 years

• For Constable ( Grade III) : Pay Band-2, Rs.14,000-60,500 plus Grade Pay of Rs.5,600.
• For Dresser : Pay Band-2, Rs.14,000-60,500 plus Grade Pay of Rs.5,000.
